About the Author
At 7 years old, my parents took me and my sister to a drive-in movie theater. What made it unforgettable? The movie playing was Goldfinger. It was the first time I was exposed to a spy, full of charisma, armed with futuristic gadgets, exposing me to a world of intrigue and international exotic locations. I also loved that he was one of the good guys.
James Bond, 007 affected my life, by way of introducing me to many spy, military and bigger-than-life exciting movies, centered around clandestine government agencies and mercenaries for hire.
Recently, retiring after 40 years of leading global fashion brands, I was searching for a way to continue being creative.
I wanted a new outlet utilizing a passion as thrilling as my career that took me around the world. After working with successful brands in the U.S., Europe and Asia, I was concerned picking a new direction wouldn’t be easy.
But actually, it was. My career exposed me to many cultures, focused on consumers…their likes, needs and wants. Through this lens, “CHUCK DENIM” was the culmination of my experiences.
He’s natural, authentic and a regular guy without pretense. He understands people, is a good soul, while ruthless to the bone to accomplish missions. You’ll find yourself rooting for CHUCK DENIM, while comforted knowing he’s always on your side.
Creating CHUCK DENIM, a former Navy SEAL who earned the rank of Lieutenant Commander, now brings his skills as the leader of Shadow Team, the mercenary “good guys” group. It’s the exhilarating journey I was hoping for, and am thrilled to share his missions with you.
